I took this on Saturday at Party in the Park in Painesville, Ohio. You know, one of those summertime neighborhood/city/town festivals (in Lake County alone there’s the Strawberry Festival, Old Fashioned Days, Better in Mentor Days, and a few Knights of Columbus/VFW-sponsored fairs I’m sure I’m missing). In addition to the apostrophe misuse in “oreo’s”, the image of a pig actually being stretched in opposite directions to make “pulled pork” made me pretty nauseous. Ew.
though i only saw him do stand-up a few times, you could really tell he was talented, very personable.
i would have to say that this is the funniest thing i read that he’d written. and just on sunday i was telling dimitri about “rent or own”.
